DescriptionThis listing is for a nice used factory original Gibson USA Les Paul Hard Shell guitar case.
As you can see, it has the classic black tolex exterior with a plush dark grey or light black interior. It also has the Gibson logo on the lid and on the small leather pull tab, on the accessory pocket. Theres also a really nice padded leather type handle.
These cases were made by TKL for Gibson and the quality is unsurpassed.
Like any used case, this one is not perfect. However, it was mainly used to store a guitar so its still in excellent condition. As you can see the plush interior is a dark grey or light black color and it looks fantastic. The Gibson logo on the lid is still in great shape. The classic black tolex exterior has a few small nicks and light scuffs but its also in great shape. The small accessory pocket and lid are intact and they work fine. All of the hasps and hinges are intact as well as the handle. The small metal skid feet are all intact. The strap that holds the main lid open, is still intact and it works great. Theres also a lock loop on one of the hasps, so you can add a small padlock, to secure your guitar while its being stored or transported.
The case will work with any Epiphone or Gibson LesPaul R6 R7 R8 R9 R0 1956 1957 1958 1959 1960 Flametop Flame top ReIssue Custom Shop Class 5 Elegant Historic Pro Special Standard Supreme Junior Jr or Ultima type electric guitars as well as many other models and brands. The case will also work with any right hand or left handed Les Paul. A Melody Maker will also fit in the case.
The only Les Paul guitar that will not work is the Les Paul Recording Model. For some reason, Gibson made those bodies slightly larger.
If you have a Les Paul you really need the factory original OEM Gibson case to protect your investment and the collect-ability of your guitar.
