Supro Drive SP1305 · Guitar Effect

 

The famous Supro Amps can be heard on many record productions of the 1960s. The characteristic Class A sound of the saturation gives these amps their high recognition value. The SuproDrive SP1305 pedal makes this sound surprisingly authentic with all its sound and dynamics. In the circuit, there is even a true output transformer to simulate the typical behavior of a saturation-driven Class A output stage. There are even two different windings switchable: Bold delivers an open sound with a lot of headroom - Rich adds a boost of gain and compresses more. The gain control can be operated remotely via the expression pedal, a minimum gain can be preset by means of an internal trim potentiometer. The pedal sounds and reacts like a Supro Amp - the degree of distortion can be infinitely influenced by the volume pot of the guitar.
