This amp is a raw, tube, tone machine. This is a hot-rodded version of the reissued Thunderbolt, with the addition of a 3-way rectifier switch option for more headroom and versatility. 

The switch gives access to a 35-watt cathode-biased or 45-watt grid-biased 5U4 tube rectifier mode, as well as a 60-watt grid-biased solid state rectifier setting. 

The Thunderbolt Plus is an amp that likes to be run hot for the best natural tone. Cranked it delivers huge, raw, overdriven rock tones pushed forth by the custom designed 15" Supro TB15 speaker. 

Controls are kept simple - just a volume and a tone control - so you can dial up the miraculous Supro tone with virtually no effort. 

The Supro Thunderbolt Plus brings all the legendary tones of the original Thunderbolt but with the added flexibility of switchable power level. And the silver/blue tolex and silver sparkle grill clothe are simply cool.
