Vintage 1954 Supro Jet Airliner Lap Steel Guitar W/Tweed Case/Cable Valco

With a bit of love, this classic 50s Supro steel could sing again! The mother of pearl body finish is in great shape; the guitar was likely stored in its case for many years. The headstock logo could be cleaned and polished up. The guitar needs new strings, and of course, the tuner crumble issue is present here. The pickup works and sounds great! The volume pot works while the tone pot doesnt sound like it does anything.

The sale includes what appears to be an old right-angle cloth-covered cable, and two tortoiseshell fingerpicks!

The case measures 33" x 3" x 8". Guitar inside case weighs about 8.6 lb total.

This guitar matches up with a Valco Spectator tube 1x12 combo amp w/tweed cabinet (see our other listings), and I would consider a discount to a buyer who wants both, together. They both date to 1954 and serial numbers are fewer than 200 digits apart! We might be able to send both guitar and amp together in one large box, if you are in North America. If you are outside North America, and want both items, you might have to settle for two separate parcels.
