Custom Built Airline Supro Res-O-Glas Electric Guitar

Up for auction is my much beloved custom built airline Res-o-glas electric guitar. This guitar was custom built by the luthier at South Austin Music in Austin, TX in 2013. The body is a kit made by Guitar Kits USA, which is an exact replica of the original res-o-glas guitars with improvements on the original design. The neck is a black Eastwood Airline neck. The pickups are Eastwood Vintage Voiced Single Coil pickups, which have great attack and tone reminiscent to the original single coils found in vintage specimens. The bridge is a custom fabricated replica of the original bridges found on the vintage Supros. The pickguard is custom made to fit the contour of the body. This guitar is a beautiful example of the outstanding work South Austin Music is capable of. The guitar plays beautifully and has a very nice feel. The res-o-glas body paired with the single coil pickups really add an amazingly unique tone that cant be obtained with the Eastwood replicas. This is truly a top quality instrument that would be right at home in any professional recording studio as well as tough enough to endure rigorous touring. You will not be dissatisfied with this guitar. Comes strung with Daddario 11s. The only thing that is missing from this guitar is the little black rubber cover for the pickup switch.
