The Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 2 HH FR solidbody electric guitar makes use of all the performance-driven features and craftsmanship details that Charvels are well known for and puts them all in a t-style package that will appeal to a wide variety of technique-based players. The guitars alder body boasts comfortable contours, while the maple neck proudly wears one of the most popular profiles in the industry. And the Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 2 HH FR is loaded with two of Seymour Duncans most popular humbucking pickups for a wide variety of assertive tones.
Traditional styling with player-friendly contours
If it doesnt help you play and sound better, Charvel has left it off the San Dimas. Its carved from alder, which exudes a wonderfully balanced sound. The t-style slab bodys simplicity has made it a favorite for decades. But the Pro-Mod San Dimas ups the game with comfortable belly and forearm contours that aid you in achieving extreme playing comfort. Many Sweetwater guitarists want a high-performance instrument without all the sharp edges. The Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 2 HH FR is just such an instrument.
Flexible Seymour Duncan electronics
Onboard this Charvel solidbody, youll find a popular combination of Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups that cover plenty of ground. At the neck position youll find Duncans PAF-style 59 humbucker. This moderate-output pickup is great for a lot of different styles, and it remains clean when pushed with high gain. The bridge JB humbucker is a hot pickup with a midrange character that cuts. And both pickups can be split for achieving single-coil tones.
The neck that started a revolution
Charvel was one of the first companies to offer a guitar neck profile that was crafted to meet the demands of their players. The Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 2 HH FRs neck features many of those same construction elements along with a few modern twists. Youll love how the compound-radius fretboard flattens out for wide string bends and vibrato. The maples satin finish never inhibits your fretting hand from gliding up and down the frets. And a convenient neck-heel truss rod adjustment thumbwheel makes it easy to keep your Pro-Mod San Dimas in perfect playing shape.
