The Archon 50 is a 2 channel amplifier that offers a lush, full gain while offering a clean channel that all players can appreciate. The 50 watt EL34 (Switchable to 6L6) power section can be scaled back to 25 watts which, gives the amp a great break up at a lower volume. This results in a more classic tone if modern gain tones arent your cup of tea. The pre-amp section offers a bass, treble, mid and volume control per channel in addition to a bright switch for each channel. A master volume for each channel resides on the far right of the amp that allows you to push the pre amp while scaling back the master or vice versa for a myriad of options in your tonal shaping. Global presence and depth controls allow you to dial in just the right amount of girth to your tone. Around the back of the amp is an effects loop that is footswitchable along with the wattage toggle and speaker outputs for running multiple cabinets. This 1x12 Archon has a Celestion G12-75T for proven performance for any genre. 

This is a new demo unit that was used by our representative in music stores to show off the PRS Archons capabilities. This amp comes with its full warranty, footswitch, power cable, footswitch cable and owners manual but does not have its original packaging. Also, being a demo unit this amp may have a scuff or mark here or there on the tolex although outside of some fingerprints and smudges nothing of note is readily apparent.
