This is an excellent mic stand for overhead booms and room mics. The mic stand itself extends from 55.5" to an incredible 96.5" tall! You can get even higher with the boom extended. The boom is adjustable from 19.5" to 28.5".

The footprint is rather large at 42" x 42" x 42" (Note: this is NOT the leg length). The long legs make this stand ideal for hanging a mic out on a boom in an overhead situation, but it can sometimes be difficult to find space for. Some of our customers have also purchased the Tour-LT or TOUR-MT stand with its large heavy iron base so that they can simply swap out the base when necessary. The entire TOUR series of stands is modular so if you dont like iron base stands you could get the Tour-T stand with its shorter tripod legs for use when necessary.
