At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving.

This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your amplifier was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without the care that it, and you, deserve.

Renowned for its bold, full-range sound and up-front, honest midrange, the Supro S6460+ Thunderbolt Plus covers a remarkable spectrum of vintage tone while wringing every ounce of personality from whatever guitar is plugged in.  

The S6460+ amplifier adds switchable power-amp topology to the legendary 1964 Supro Thunderbolt, giving you the original 35-Watt “Class A” Cathode bias sound as well as beefy 45-Watt and 60-Watt Grid bias modes for additional headroom and tonal variation. This unique design is implemented via a three-way selector switch on the front panel.

Turned all the way up, the S6460+ exhibits nearly zero self-noise; yet it puts out enough volume to be easily heard on large venue and theater stages, with overdrive completely controlled by the guitar’s volume knob. The 35-Watt and 45-Watt modes both deliver the sag and bluster of the 5U4 tube rectifier while the 60-Watt mode uses a silicon rectifier to unleash maximum Thunderbolt power. The 60-Watt mode’s faster transient response and ample headroom is wonderful for pedals, and brings the Supro sound loud and clear to any size venue.

  This guitar is required to be listed as seller refurbished by the manufacturer. It has been completely checked over by The Music Farm team, and also by the largest manufacturer refurbishing center in America. Buying one of these guitars is almost like buying a brand new guitar, but getting a huge savings on it!

  Most of these instruments do not have any visible defects. If there is a visible defect it will be indicated in pictures and in the description. These guitars do not carry the original manufacturer warranty, and in order to prevent invalid warranty claims they are lightly stamped “USED” or “2nd” on the back of the headstock, and the original serial number has been replaced with a new serial number from the refurbishing center.

The returned item must be in the same condition that it was received in, and all accessories, packaging, manual and warranty cards must be included. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs and must ship the item back fully insured.
