1989 Charvette by Charvel Model 170 in splatter finish ... This is the earlier version with a solid basswood body ... Made in japan ...guitar plays and sounds good but far from perfect ... a larger dent on the bottom edge of the body with paint chips and either side as shown in pictures ..about a 4 inch scratch behind the bridge ...other light scratyches on the face of the body but its pretty clean ...the back of the body has several scratches towards the lower bout into the finish ....Surface rust on the 6 mounting screws for the tremolo ... also the tremolo block is missing a chunk where the trem bar goes into it ...the bar does thread in but will not tighten and kinda swings freely ( which is how i like mine to keep it out of the way ) ... all pickups and switch work as they should ...again body is SOLID not ply as alot of charvettes ...Neck is typical charvel of the era ..thinner and plays fast ...frets are large and showing only minor wear ...reverse headstock with charvel branded gotoh tuners ..... the high E is missing the gear cover as shown but all work well as they should .. Please take you time and see all pictures and use zoom feature to see the good / bad and the ugly ...its a fun player with a rare finish... Gonna suggest a set-up but will leave that for you to decide ...  Be sure and see all my other listings ... lots of cool stuff like this one
