Utah Vintage Speaker / Cabinet 12" / 8 Ohm / C12PC-3C "Celestia" 1960

 "Telecaster & Breadbox 57 Champ (5F1) Handwired "Not for Sale" I used this Guitar Amplifier, My Bugera T5 and my NAD Stereo Integrated Amplifier and CD Player and Record Changer to test these Vintage Speakers. I fell in love with the look for use with my 57 Champ that I put in a Breadbox Cabinet.

NOW THE SPEAKERS: I gathered as much info on the internet as I could find on these speakers.
CODES TELL ME 2 - THINGS:  Utah is the Manufacturer (Indiana it says on Speaker Backs) and the week dates as 21st Week - 1960

The original attenuation Controls are on back of cabinets and function cleanly. ( No scratchy pots )
Audio is crisp and clean to my ear...when tested with the equipment I mentioned above. Watt Rating according to the info I could find for the "3C" version of Celestias is 45 watts on a couple of the charts I found in a 1965 Audio Magazine and 60 Watts in another. So they should work well with most Tube amplifiers Guitar or Audiophile as long as you are below 50 watts Peak Power. We do not imply these can handle high power amps. We used this with two tube amps rated at 5 watts and with our NAD integrated stereo amp rated at 25 watts.

The Cabinets are made of excellent plywood and looks like walnut veneer. The moldings that are top and bottom of the cabinets do have some dings and scratches  but nothing extreme for cabinets that are 56 years old. ( Inspect all PHOTOS please) The insulation inside is pristine( See Photos) The speakers are clean...no mold or spots on speaker material, no tears or rips in the speakers as I can see. I did not remove them and inspect fronts...but from audio at different levels it sounds to me like all voice coils are working. "These are 3 WAY SPEAKERS" ( Again we did not pull the speakers - we are going by the model number and the research we found, you might want to research yourself prior to making an offer)

Speakers with cabinets are 35 pounds each without packing materials and boxes. Assume 50 pounds each. The price is the same for both cabinets with Speakers. (That means 155 each I have two available). That is why we listed as two available. The price is per cabinet. Last person who bid was expecting to get both cabinets for that price. (We think not.) So we refunded his money.  We will also sell speakers without the cabinets for  less ( 100.00 for each speaker without cabinets ) and will box them individually without cabinets for that type of purchase. You decide. The cabinets are really nice and do have a great value empty. So again you decide with or without cabinets. PRICE IS FOR WITH CABINETS. 155 each.
